To All of Our Friends and Customers: As Buck’s Naked BBQ enters into it’s 13th summer in Freeport, Alex and I have some exciting news; as of July 1st, we are thrilled to announce the new owners of Buck’s will be our long time Operations Manager, Al Brown, and his beautiful wife, and our Catering Director, Susan Brown. Al has been with us at Buck’s since 2008 and has been the backbone of our company for quite some time. It has been an honor and privilege working with both Al and Susan over these past years and we are very confident their leadership will insure the continued success of Buck’s. We wish our good friends the Browns boundless love and good BBQ fortune as their capable guidance leads Buck’s into the future. We started Buck’s Naked BBQ in a small, drafty garage in Freeport in January of 2005, we’ve had a tremendous time serving you, our customers. We have made some fantastic friends and memories along the way and we have so enjoyed serving you. It’s been very rewarding being a small part of this tremendous town where we have enjoyed supporting Freeport’s causes and community and we want to thank our many customers for giving us an opportunity to be hospitable. As Alex and I move onto other pursuits, our heartstrings tug a bit when we think of all of our fabulous staff over these past 13 years. We have been blessed with the very best people - and we are so very grateful to all of our past and present employees – thank you for your dedication, humor and helping to make Buck’s the terrific spot we can all be proud of. Your hard work, dedication and thoughtfulness have made lasting memories for us and we will always be your biggest fans. Please stop in and wish Al and Susan the very best, order some BBQ and celebrate the next chapter of Buck’s - and here’s to you Buck ‘ya crazy pig…may you always be delicious, slow, low and naked.
